Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites guests to discover her worldview by the food she cooks. The curiosity in her grew after she moved from her home in the Long Island suburbs to explore the vast cultural diversity in Los Angeles. The carnetas and the Cavatelli are, according to her, able to be found on the same menu. Her taste is constantly developing. With every dish she serves, she has a vision which is distinctive and expresses nostalgia for the old. Motivated by her American-born Italian heritage, Lofaso opened Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 which was immediately well received. The interpretation that Lofaso has given to classic Italian is widely praised by critics as being one of the best eateries for Italian cuisine located in Los Angeles. Lofaso is consistently praised by Scopa's patrons for serving food that feels real and utterly pleasing. Lofaso studied under the best chefs to master their methods. However, she was not afraid to make extraordinary decisions to honor her gut instincts. In a short time she rose to the highest level in Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Then she collaborated with a variety of famous people while transforming various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso launched Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Lofaso found her place in Black Market, and through her partnerships she has created. Lofaso was able to enjoy the freedom to create the work she wanted through the collaboration. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, that's the intention. The first course could be chipped potatoes and peppers with some dill. This could be followed by Korean wings and meatballs. Antonia's bold flavors are the foundation of these bold combinations. Lofaso assesses the success she has had throughout her career by the innate ability she has to understand her audience and stay loyal to her character. Her memorable performance of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her uniqueness outside of the kitchen. Her talents are still shining in front of the camera as a Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. In 2012 Lofaso was a part of Penguin to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Cooking Ideas for Delicious homemade Meals and describes the challenges she overcame while studying at the elite French Culinary Institute, and simultaneously raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso believes that the motivation for her achievements comes from the heart of cooking and it's in this way that she has a to keep her finger on the pulse. Through her Chefletics brand, she's altering the appearance of her field by redesigning clothes for the kitchen that are stylish as well as function. The most important thing to Lofaso is staying true to your vision with the intention of launching Antonia Lofaso Catering, which will convey a more tailored method of providing customers with the most personal service.
