Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue has a reputation as an American actor, producer and director who is employed in film and television. Her acting career began in the theater. She then appeared in several television shows as well as independent and mainstream films. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made an appearance in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. She started her career as an actor in the year 1995 as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. Stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. In her film career her most well-known roles are roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help.
